The ALLEYKAT app is free to download, and free races are free to run. For paid races, you keep the registration fee minus ALLEYKAT's fee, paid out to your bank through Stripe.

Very low fees
ALLEYKAT's cut is capped at the registration fee itself, so it can never exceed what the runner paid. On a $1 race the full $1 covers the platform fee and you receive $0 — which is why the app lets you publish a $1 race without connecting Stripe at all.
Minimum fee for larger races
Races with more than 10 participants require a minimum registration fee of $1 per participant.
Connecting Stripe
To collect money, connect a Stripe account from the race creation wizard or the Dashboard's Money tab. Until Stripe is connected, you'll see a "Connect payouts" prompt and can't publish a paid race (the $1 exception above aside). Payouts are handled by Stripe Connect on their standard schedule.
Discounts & comps
You can issue discount and comp codes for paid races. The discount is funded by a proportional split of your payout and the platform fee. See Discount & comp codes.
