Welcome to AlleyKat! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile app ("App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. You agree not to use the App for unlawful purposes or in a way that could harm other users or the service.
You agree to provide accurate information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
By uploading photos or media, you grant us a license to use, store, and display them within the App. You retain ownership of your content.
AlleyKat offers two separate text-messaging programs, and you must opt in to each independently:
By opting in to either program, you consent to receive automated text messages at the mobile number you provide. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase or race registration. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of that program, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You can review or change your text preferences at any time in the App's Privacy settings.
The App is for fitness tracking purposes only and does not provide medical advice. Always consult a physician before starting a new fitness regimen.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or cause harm to the App or its users.
We are not liable for injuries, data loss, or damages resulting from the use of the App.
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.
By using the AlleyKat platform, you agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including but not limited to traffic laws, pedestrian laws, and local ordinances. You are solely responsible for knowing and following the laws that apply in your location.
AlleyKat does not encourage, endorse, or require participants to violate traffic laws or engage in unsafe, reckless, or illegal behavior. Any references to "races," "competition," or "timing" are for informational and recreational purposes only and do not imply permission to disregard laws or public safety.
You acknowledge that:
All activities take place in open, public spaces that are not closed or controlled by AlleyKat. AlleyKat does not provide traffic control, route enforcement, marshals, or supervision.
You assume all risks associated with participating in outdoor running activities in public spaces, including risks arising from traffic, road conditions, weather, and interactions with others.
AlleyKat reserves the right to disqualify participants or invalidate results if we determine, in our sole discretion, that activity data suggests unsafe, reckless, or unlawful behavior.
