Create a race

Start from Create Race on the web, or the Create tab in the app. The wizard walks you through the same steps on both.

   Choose a race type

   Pick an in-person format (point-to-point, loop, alleycat, scavenger, relay, or — in the app — backyard ultra) or an async race, and choose Running or Cycling. In the app you also choose whether the race has a course at all, or is registration-only. See Choosing a race type.

   Set the basics

   Name, description, date/time (or open window), and distance.

   Build the route

   Draw the course and place your start corral, waypoints, and finish. See Routes, corrals & waypoints.
4. 04
   Add branding

   Upload a cover photo and set a brand color so your race looks the part.
5. 05
   Set pricing

   Free, or attach a registration fee — in-person and async races can both be paid — and connect Stripe for payouts.
6. 06
   Review & publish

   Publish to make the race discoverable, or keep it as a draft until you're ready.
