Connect a Garmin account and ALLEYKAT can automatically match every Garmin activity to the races you're registered for. An activity that matches no race is not imported. No manual per-race upload required.
Connecting Garmin
- 01Open settings and connect GarminIn the app, connect your Garmin account via Garmin's OAuth flow.
- 02Run with your watchWear the watch during your race as usual.
- 03SyncOn next app launch, the "sync your Garmin" flow reviews new activities and matches each one to any still-open async/FKT/in-person race it validly completes. An activity that matches no race is left alone, so it can still match a race you register for later. You confirm before anything is applied.
How matching works
Each activity is normalized into a source-agnostic activity record, then run through a two-stage engine: a fast filter (time-window overlap, not already submitted, and the track passing near the race's start corral), followed by a full replay through every zone for the candidates that survive. A match finalizes your result exactly as if you'd finished live.
Connected but not syncing?
If Garmin shows connected but activities aren't arriving, reconnect from settings — a missing connection record can cause incoming activities to be dropped. The reconnect flow re-claims your Garmin user id.
Note
Garmin auto-sync is on iOS today; Android is pending. Strava is wired up on both platforms, but as a manual picker rather than an auto-sync engine — see Fix a missing or wrong result.
