The scene
Copenhagen’s alleycats come mostly from the København Bike Messenger Association (KBMA), a non-hierarchical group of bike messengers that posts its events on kbma.dk, among them the DMC weekends, an October Messenger Appreciation Weekend, Halloween alleycats under the Alleyween name, and the Nordic Cycle Messenger Championships it hosted in May 2024. On foot, the running brand SAYSKY has run its Sub Rosa street checkpoint race from Vesterbro.

How races get in here
The directory is curated by ALLEYKAT. Races timed on the app appear in their city on their own once they have a date or have been run, and everything else is added by hand after we have checked it against the organiser’s own page. There is no form and no fee.
